Project Overview

Website redesign to achieve a clear structure

There were two big issues with the Docks Bruxsel website. The first being user experience - the journey was convoluted and lacked structure/order/ease of navigation.

The second was a lack of identity - the website felt generic and the brand values were not captured. The brand proposition for Docks Bruxsel is to be seen as a destination, rather than just a shopping centre.

Solution

The new website was designed to engage, inform and inspire the user. By adding modules on the homepage for events and plan your visit, we were able to bring the brand proposition to life, and at the forefront of the website.

However we didn’t want the website to lose it’s purpose. At the heart of this website, there is an expectation from the user that ‘I want to know what shops you have/Do you have brand ‘X’/What location is brand ‘x’?’. The redesign has stayed true to this, offering a quick and painless user journey to do so.

A cleaner, less cluttered, header allows for improved user navigation.
